The Radlett Festival of music was delighted to bring together local schools and music groups in a Christmas Praise Carol Concert at Aldenham Church on the 10th of December 2014. It featured well known carols and Christmas songs, interspersed with readings by the children. The evening also include a joint performance of 'This is the Place' the charity CD/DVD recorded by the schools to support Keech Hospice. Tea and mince pies were served afterwards by kind volunteers. There was a retiring collection for Keech Hospice which, along with sales of the charity CD/DVD raised over £200.
It was a lovely evening, bringing together young and old in a beautiful setting to celebrate Christmas.
We were very grateful to Hertsmere Borough Council for sponsoring this event with a grant to transport the residents of our local residential homes to and from the concert!
